ram 1500 device not supported fix

i connect a phone to USB, it works fine until i turn off the truck. I have run into the same thing with my Samsung S10+ phone and it is the USB cables. Device not supported has started to pop up on my display. Bought a top-of-the-line Ram 1500 Limited about 2 weeks ago and the issue started happening on Day 4 during a camping trip. everything else seems to work, but that error overlays everything. Is pulling the battery cable the same effect as just pulling fuse F11? Maybe it is the hub but why, with my truck's age, would it start having the same issue as brand new trucks and year old trucks. disconnecting the USB connection and turning off the truck, then turning it back seems to make the error go away, but it sucks knowing that if i connect anything to the USB that error will pop up every time.
